FLEETWOOD RV AND HOLIDAY RAMBLER DELIVER THE BEST SUSPENSION AND HANDLING PACKAGE IN CLASS C MOTORHOMES

REV Recreation Group is breaking the Class C motorhome mold with the introduction of two new lineups for 2017 — the Fleetwood RV Jamboree and the Holiday Rambler Vesta. These all-new motorhomes, introduced in June of 2016, redefine the category with a list of premium features usually only found among Class A motorhomes. And while these top-of-the-line amenities set the bar in the industry, it’s REV’s new ride and handling package that has the market talking.

Both motorhome models ride on an industry-first rubber shackle ‘airless’ suspension system. Partnering with MORryde, REV has created an exclusive REV Control Ryde™ ride and handling system, borrowing scrupulous engineering from the ambulance industry, which demands the smoothest riding vehicles on the market.

REV’s all-new RCR system tackles the roughest roads with MORryde’s RS suspension system, unique rubber shear springs that work in concert with leaf springs to cushion the motorhome and absorb road shock. This system increases suspension travel and achieves all of this without the fuss of high-maintenance air bags.

“This suspension system is a cut above traditional leaf spring suspensions used on most motorhomes,” said Jack Enfield, MORryde Sales and Marketing Manager. “It’s definitely a step up for the industry, and we’re proud to have partnered with REV to deliver the RS suspension system to the Class C market.”

Aside from the suspension system, Jamboree and Vesta take ride and handling a step further with RCR’s “anti-dive” technology, which reduces front-end dive — the percentage of force transferred to the front of the vehicle when braking. Using exacting calculations and revolutionary design, the RCR system significantly reduces dive to create superior control and enhanced safety, allowing the motorhome to stop more easily.

REV RV Group President Jim Jacobs encourages dealers and owners alike to take a ride and feel the difference. “If you don’t test drive this coach,” Jacobs urged, “then you’re really missing out on what this suspension system is all about.”

Meanwhile, dealers have been impressed with the list of industry-first features these Class C motorhomes bring to market, including high-gloss cabinets, solid-surface countertops, roof-mounted awning and fully wrapped front cap design.

“We are absolutely excited about the launch of REV’s Class C lineup,” said Jason Kimbrell of La Mesa RV. “REV really took on a high-end diesel look at a competitive price point. When you package that with the REV Control Ryde™ system, we believe we have a game changer!”
